This is the project-governance standard across the UK and Commonwealth — but the real market is British. UK public-sector procurement frameworks name it as routinely as they name TOGAF, and demand stays reliably firm.
Project managers in UK government, defense and NHS programs, plus the consultancies that serve them. In that world PRINCE2 is contractual vocabulary rather than a nice-to-have.
Its moat is geographic and its trajectory flat. Where procurement frameworks name it, it's non-negotiable; everywhere else it barely registers. UK-based holders should hold it, and pairing with an agile credential or PMP adds the international portability it lacks on its own.
The risk is framework modernization in UK government delivery. A decisive procurement shift toward agile-native standards would erode the contractual moat that keeps it firm.
