Salesforce's credential for configuring Agentforce, the AI agent layer the company has put at the center of its platform strategy. The case for it is direction rather than today's paycheck.
Salesforce admins, developers and consultants who configure agents, prompt templates and the data grounding behind them. They work at Salesforce partners and consultancies, and at customer organizations rolling out Agentforce.
Salesforce is steering its whole customer base toward agents, and this is the credential that maps directly onto that implementation work. It stacks naturally on Platform Developer or architect-track certs, where the ecosystem's higher pay sits.
The credential is tied to one vendor's product bet. If Agentforce adoption stalls, or Salesforce re-scopes the exam as the product changes, the signal resets.
