ISACA's risk credential climbed +24% year-on-year in the prior edition. The premium data flagged it alongside CISA and CGEIT — the first time all three landed there at once. Risk is having a moment, and AI is the reason.
IT risk managers, GRC leads and second-line risk officers — the people who build risk registers and control frameworks, and who increasingly own AI risk assessments too. They work at banks, insurers and other regulated enterprises.
Every AI deployment creates governance obligations that someone has to own, and CRISC holders are the obvious candidates. What makes this rating unusually well-grounded is the premium growth: 11–20% band growth for ISACA certs through H2 2025 points the same way.
The risk is standardization. If AI-risk practice settles around a new dedicated credential — AIGP is the likely candidate — CRISC's claim on that growth would thin out.
